I want badly to pursue a career in science. I am in high school in a small town where there are virtually no science opportunities. I am very interested in many summer programs, but they are all out of my price range. I am very excited and passionate about learning and I truely believe that in America, I CAN succeed. If you have any ideas or you know of any programs with excellent financial aid, or even if you can simply offer some encouragement or kind words, it would be greatly appreciated. Again, I am willing to work hard for an opportunity, I just need a chance. Thank you.

Not my face, my body. I'm not even talking mirrors at likea funhouse or disstorted ones. I just mean regular day-to-day mirrors always make me look different. Some of them make me look hippier ( which is a good thing), and others I look more straight up and down, it's so weird. And it's not just a slight difference, it's dramatic. Which mirrors and accurate and how should I slant a mirror to get the most accurate portrayal. For example, I heard mirrors tilted forwards make you look thinner, and mirrors that are straight make you look fatter. How do I position my mirror so that I get the most accurate view of my body shape. Not neccessarily size, but shape. Thanx!
Also, how far should u stand from a mirror for the most accurate portrayal?

An experiment was done on one subject (n=1) in which heart rate, ventilation, blood pressure, oxygen consumption was measure in a 5 minute period of rest, 5 min period of light exercise and 4 min period of recovery.
I graphed heart rate, and the other factors over time and that showed a steady increase.
How do I show (preferably through a graph) a correlation between 2 factors such as oxygen consumption and heart rate?
If I did an x-y scatter plot with oxygen on one axis and heart rate on the other, would this work?
Thank you =)

We deliver moon jumps & the owner of the company just bought some larger/heavier jumps for this season. Until now, we used a milk crate & brute strength to lift them up & into our van. This year promises to be busier and we'd like to find a mechanical (and economical) solution that helps make this part of the job easier. What do you suggest?

Some say that use celsius degree when refering to change or difference in temperature. But when refering to thermometer readings, it should be degrees celsius. If you agree, How would you explain the difference between the two? Otherwise, please share your opinions. Thanks

If a person's head and body are seperated then where will he feel he is located ? That is, whether he will feel himself inside the body or inside his head ?

I know a lot of fun can be made of this question but I really wonder at it sometimes. And yes, I won't do and try it myself.
