If a person's head and body are seperated then where will he feel he is located ? That is, whether he will feel himself inside the body or inside his head ?

I know a lot of fun can be made of this question but I really wonder at it sometimes. And yes, I won't do and try it myself.

We won't ever know for sure, but there have been some reports of the brain remaining active for a brief moment after it has been separated from the body.

During the French Revolution when people were guillotined like crazy, there were often accounts of decapitated persons responding to their own names (the eyes of the severed head would look in that direction) shortly after they were killed.

So my guess would be, since your brain is in your head and your head thinks, you would feel yourself inside your head. Now, stop being so morbid =)

I think feeling a location would be the least of his worries, but probably in the head because that is where the brain is.
