The kelvin and celcius scales are the same size, by which I mean taking an object at a given temperature, and increasing it by 1 degree celcius, is the same as increasing it by 1 degree kelvin.
The celcius scale sets '0' basically, as the freezing point of water. The Kelvin scale sets '0' as Absolute Zero- the lowest temperature that can exist.
0 K is -273 celcius. So, to change celcius to kelvin, just add 273.
15 + 273 = 288K
