something happening or coming true, what is the reasoning behind it?

Lets just say things do come true. Why do they come true just by visualizing them coming true?

I would like to know if there is a scientific explanation behind this.

I was so stupid. My son has a thomas train set. His little brother had a poopy mess right in the middle of tracks he had set up, so I took all of them and threw them in the bathtup to clean them. I forgot about wood expanding in water...now the pieces won't fit together. Will they go back after they dry, or have I just ruined his train set?

The test also gave me a score. I did quite well in college a few years back (10) but i never really excelled in math. But based on the description given to me, I don't think a visual mathematician would necessarily do well in traditional math anyways. Here is what the test results revealed:

- I am gifted at spotting patterns in both pictures and numbers.

- I am able to see the big picture.

- People trust my instincts and turn to me for my direction. Especially in the workplace.

So based on this, what type of career would be best suited for me? I am 31 and need to find out pretty quickly! Thank you.

Invisibility? Suits with two-way camera-monitors are already being tested.

Being in two places at the same time? Particle duality is now a fact.

How would science achieve...

Immortality?

Interstellar travel?

Time travel?

Reencarnation?

Long-distance Wireless energy transmission?

Or any you'd like to share.

Black's voices are often, but not always, raspier, throatier, and deeper. And don't say it's cultural and environmental, because most black infant's voices are like this as well.

Please, I am not asking this as a springboard for racist jokes. Any science links you have would be appreciated. This is not a question very often asked here.

If you get stuck in a fridge, you would be physically unable to push the door open from the inside?

Something to do with the vacuum, I believe.
