something happening or coming true, what is the reasoning behind it?

Lets just say things do come true. Why do they come true just by visualizing them coming true?

I would like to know if there is a scientific explanation behind this.

You have to see the movie "The Secret" As science progresses I think that we will learn more, but recently studies are finding new information about how the mind operates. Thoughts create waves like a transmitter. Some really cool episodes on the science chanell have shown some remarkable facts. According to the secret it has to do with the law of attraction...It's awesome!

Nothing comes true just by visualizing.

However, by visualizing an outcome, you are in essence creating a plan for making or influencing the event to happen. Without your influence, it's just random outcome.

It's a technique to remove the blocks and obstacles to your desire. By visuallizing things the way we want them to happen, we are disregarding the opposite possibility. It's like making a choice; or setting goal. Persons with defined goals achieve their goals more readily.
