Well...
How much does one penny weigh? - This actually depends on the year it was made.
Pennies minted before 1982 were made of 95% copper and 5% zinc. These weigh about 3.1 grams each. Pennies made after 1982 are 97.6% zinc and 2.4% copper. These weigh 2.5 grams.

How many pennies in $100? - There are 100 pennies per dollar, so:
100 (pennies/dollar) * 100 (dollars) = 10,000 pennies

I live in Japan so I don't have pennies. I did have 10,000 yen worth of 10 yen coins or 1000 copper coins that are probably 1.5 times heavier. This weighed 5 kg. I'd say it would weightabout 30 kg but you would have to ask the bank maybe or someone has 100 pennies on them and can weight it and then multiply by a hundred.
