The value of 8 dimes is 10 8 = 80 cents. Likewise, the value of x dimes is 10x. If George finds nickels, 3x dimes, and x quarters in his change jar, express the total value of change in cents as an algebraic expression.

(60x - 10) cents
(85x - 2) cents
(85x + 10) cents
(85x - 10) cents

6(x + 5) - (6x + 30) = 0

The weight of a fish, y(t), satisfies the equation:

dy/dx + y = 3y^(2/3)

If the initial weight y(0) = 0, find its weight at any subsequent time.

Thank you so much if you can help :)

Find h'(y) if h(y)=tan(e^(3y))

Ok, so i used the product rule, but i'm not sure if i'm suppose to..

This is what i got
f= tan(e^3y) g=e^3y

so i got
3e^3y*tan(e^3y) + sec^2(e^3y) * e^3y

is it correct?? if not, can u show me how please?

1) tan4x - tan2x = 0 Answer: 0, pi/2, pi

2) √3cosx - sinx = 0 Answer: -4pi/3, -pi/3

I don't know how to simplify these. I ended up with tan4x = tan2x for the first question, which didn't make much sense to me.
