It is supposed to be a 5x3 rectangle made up by identical squares.

Find the number of all P-Q routes(move from P to Q)
(i) that do not self-intersect i.e. do not cross over themselves
(ii) that do not pass through any segment more than once (Check and prove that this is not the answer as (i) )

And one question is that what type of question is this or under what topic?

then the book asked me to 1) determine the year which dvd sales will reach 2,800 million
so I just put log 2800 = 200 * 2^t then so log 2800/log200=2^t and then that equaled 3.0852357..=2^t and then I divided log 2 from 3.0852357 so it equaled 4.9 so that would be 2001 about, right?

and then it asked b)what is the doubling time for sales of dvd players and how do I figure that?

I know the answer but I'm not sure how to solve it using Calculus instead of common sense. I need to show work for this type of question.

1 = 1 {a simple fact}

(1)^2 = (-1)^2 {squaring both sides (square of -1 is also 1) }

1 = -1 {taking root on both sides}

(1) +4 = (-1) +4 {adding a constant 4 on both sides}

5 = 3 {by simple addition}

CAN YOU FIND ANY WRONG IN THIS ?

Just need help with setting up the equation.....the standard form for linear to linear function is ....y = ax+b / x+c

Maude is conducting an orchestra of mice. She knows she can achieve a loudness of 80 decibels with 100 mice. With more mice, the loudness will approach, but never exceed, 120 decibels. Of course, with no mice, she achieves a loudness of 0 decibels. If the loudness of the orchestra is a linear-to-linear function of the number of mice, how many mice would she need to achieve a loudness of 110 decibels?

I've been asked to graph the expression y =5x -5. I checked some old algebra books and am not sure what I am doing here.

The link is to the template I was given. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
