The value of 8 dimes is 10 8 = 80 cents. Likewise, the value of x dimes is 10x. If George finds nickels, 3x dimes, and x quarters in his change jar, express the total value of change in cents as an algebraic expression.

(60x - 10) cents
(85x - 2) cents
(85x + 10) cents
(85x - 10) cents

11+8p=9p
-8p -8p
11= p

3x (10) + x (25)
30x+25x
55x+5x-10
60x-10

6(x+5) - (6x+30) = 0
6x+30 - 6x +30 = 0
0 + 60 = 0
60 = 0
since this is a false statement, the answer is...
NO SOLUTION

1
(the coefficient is the number in front of the 1st term, and there is none, therefore, it is 1)

1) subtract 8p from both sides (it's an equation) doing the same thing to both sides will not change the value

2) nickels + dimes + quarters = cents
5x + 3(10x) + 25x = cents in jar

and I do not understand the rest of the gobbledygook
