If you can apply either the comparison test or limit comparison test then tell wheter it is convergent or divergent, if neither test can be applied to the series than say what test does

The united Nations declared october 12, 1999, the day of 6 billion. on this day, earths population was estimated to reach 6 billion. currently earths population is doubling about every 35 years.

A) using this figure, estimate the worlds population in 2034.

B) assuming 365 days in a year, estimate the average number of additional people added to earths population each day between 1999 and 2034...

the problem for long division is (6x^2+7+-6) / (2x+1)
i got the answer of 3x+2-8/2x+1
for the synthetic the problem is (a^3+4a-5) / (a-2)
i got an answer of 1x+6+1/a-2
