The united Nations declared october 12, 1999, the day of 6 billion. on this day, earths population was estimated to reach 6 billion. currently earths population is doubling about every 35 years.

A) using this figure, estimate the worlds population in 2034.

B) assuming 365 days in a year, estimate the average number of additional people added to earths population each day between 1999 and 2034...

try and be as specific as possible i cant seem to figure out part B... if u use a formula try and let me know what it is... thank you for trying to help im not great in mathmatics.

12*10^9 = 6*10^9 = e^kt
e^kt = 2
kt = ln(2)
k = ln(2)/35 =.0198
P(t) = 6*10^9e^(.0198t)
P(35) = 12 *10^9 persons in 2034
6*10^9/(365*35) = 469,667 persons per day
