is inflated at a rate of 14cm/s
(a) Express the radius r of the balloon as a function of the time t (in seconds). r(t)=t/14cm/s

(b) If V is the volume of the balloon as a function of the radius, find V r.

4/3pi(t/14cm/s)

not sure if that is right? do I divide t by the inflation rate?

Directions: Write an equation in slope intercept form for the line that satisfies each set of conditions.

1.) slope 0.25 passes through (0,4)
2.) passes through (-3, -1) parallel to the line that passes through (3,3) (0,6)

I don't have the first clue where to start with these, if you could work it and show me steps on how to get the answers. Thanks

There is a log cabin, somewhere in the woods filled with republicans and democrats. One day, one of the democrats decides to become a republican. at that point there were equal numbers of republicans and democrats. the very next dy he decides to become a democrat again. then another republican becomes a democrat. at that point there were twice as many democrats as there were republicans. The democrat became a republican, and everything was back to normal. how many republicans, and democrats were in that log cabin?

This is driving me nuts. Any math wizz answer this for me please:

Why am I getting different deviation values when I work it out on paper than when I use excel. Heres the problem:

Average: 50.08
5 tests: 50.11, 50.08, 50.10, 50.07, 50.05

By hand I get: .0239791576

Am I working this out right? What did you get when you did both? Thanks in advance.
