One day, one of the democrats decides to become a republican. at that point there were equal numbers of republicans and democrats. the very next dy he decides to become a democrat again. then another republican becomes a democrat. at that point there were twice as many democrats as there were republicans. The democrat became a republican, and everything was back to normal. how many republicans, and democrats were in that log cabin?
