m=1/2 (a-b) slove for b?

i dont know what to do with the a and the b i though i would have to add but i dont know exactly its just ugh

m = 1/2 (a-b)
time 2 both sides
2m = a-b
subtract a both sides
2m-a = -b
divide -1 both sides
-2m +a = b

or b = a -2m

multiply by 2
2m = a-b
add -a to both sides
2m-a = -b
multiply by -1
a-2m=b

2M = a - b
b = a - 2M
