Sqrt=square root and i=square root of -1
(-1+Sqrt(3)i)^3= 8 this line is right
-1+Sqrt(3)i = 2 i took the cube root of each side
Sqrt(3)i = 3 added 1 to each side
i = Sqrt(3) divided both sides by the Sqrt(3)
-1 = 3 square each side
obviosly the last line is not true but then where is the mistake?

...traveling towards each other at close to the speed of light. One is going 2.9x10^8 m/s and the other is going 2.8x10^8 m/s.

Using this formula.. u = (v + w) / 1 + vw / c^2
w = velocity of one ship
v = velocity of the other ship
c = speed of light in a vacuum
u = speed observed by the two spaceships on the other

This is to show the break-down of "addition rule of velocites" at the speed of light.

When Adam, Brian and Charlie eat out, each orders either ham or pork (OK they don't get out much but please bear with me)!

1) If Adam orders ham, Brian orders pork.
2) Either Adam or Charlie order ham, but not both.
3) Brian and Charlie do not both order pork.

Who could have ordered ham yesterday, pork today?

Has anyone ever been to a math website, (forgotten), where they offer $1,000,000.00, yup, one million, to anyone who can solve some problems that the world's mathmatecians cannot. These have to do with real problems that need solving. Last I saw there were 3. Left me in the dust.
