The Equation
330x = 91.74

Divide 330 to both sides
330x/330 = 91.74/330

Simplify
x = 0.278

Convert to percent
x = 0.278(100%/1)
x = 27.8 %

IS OVER OF EQUALS PERCENT OVER 100! we learned that in like fourth grade!!

330 (of) 100
Then cross multiply
(100)(91.74) = 330 x
9174 = 330 x
9174 divided by 330 is 27.8

91.74 / (divide sign) 330= 0.278. This is your answer, but to make it a percent you have to move the decimal to the right by two. Make sense?

since what i used was percent change you need to do 100- 72.2 (the percent change after dividing by 100) to get 27.8, what pecent it is of it
