Isn't it weird that the earth is 'flat' but if you you started off at eastern Canada and you crossed the ocean and just kept going east you'd evenually get back to where you started from? I found this amazing, but i'm probably missing something out. Feedback please.

I'm just trying to get a "cross-section" view of people and their geographic location...just out of curiosity! For me, I live in New Hampshire (USA), and what's special about it is the beauty of the White Mountains, the Lakes Region (where I live), and the lovely fall foliage. What about you? :)

Working on project where I need to find a few select cities in states, provinces, and in various countries. I have searched and searched and only get either too specific of a map or too broad. Does anyone have any ideas of where to go for example: Houston and Robstown, TX; Edmonton and Medicine Hat, Alberta; Sicily, Italy, Duitsland, Germany; Norrkoping,Sweden and so on.....w/ various other city locations in various countries. Anyone know of any way to get this type of search going??? End result will be a global map showing ALL locations.....THANKS A BUNCH!!!!

*note* that the high population density of Java PREDATES globalization and industrialization and colonization by the Dutch, etc.
Java has ALWAYS been densely populated. I want to know what the historical reason for this is.
Thanks.
