If you want to impress your teachers (assuming this is a school project?), spell it the correct way with the accent, Québec. The province got it's name from the Algonquin language, which means, "where the river narrows". Also, Québec is divided up into 17 administrative regions, Montréal is it's own region, which is number 6.
