Hey ive always been seeing alot of this chloroform substance on tv. And its my understanding that u can just put it against someones mouth and they pass out. Well this really scared me.

Couldnt it be possible for someone to drug u with chloroform while your sleeping without you even knowing it happend??

ineed help bout universitiy courses.im now in a college.is it a good idea for me to take biotechnology course for university level cuz im not that interested in studying bout genes,or DNA.whenever we have to do bio experiement in the college,i really feel bored and not interested. its different for chemistry. im loving this subject and the experiements.what i wanna say is i want to take courses that involves chemistry a lot.but biotech is developing in my country,my mum ask me to take this couse later cuz it's easier to get job later.if i take courses like chemical analysis or biochem,she said its quite..em hard to get jobs.but whats the point of taking biotech if im not that interested in the course,ill get low greds.its the same right?hard to get job.i need help should i follow my mum's advice or follow my love for chemistry?please explain to me what chmistry courses are available in universities.what chemical technology n chemical analysis are all about and what are the job prospct

Methon Permiability Test:
((1)) There are 2 bottles(150 ml.). One is filled with 10 M Methanol and other is filled with same amount of water (80 ml.)

((2)) As we put those two connected bottles into a water bath (where the temperature is 80oC), the water passes to the Methanol side through the membrane and doesnot come back even the temperature goes down to room temperature.

((3))This is called the back-diffusivity. But, what is the exact mechanism behind this. Could anyone here expalin for me, please?
