carminic acid, consist only carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. it is 53.66% C and 4.09% H by mass. A titration required 18.02ml of 0.0406M NaOH to neutralize 0.3602g carminic acid. assuming that there is only one acidic hydrogen per molecule. what is the molecular formula of carminic acid? the molar mass is ~500g/mol
explain in detail.

A sample of cocaine, C17H21O4N, is diluted with sugar, C12H22O11. When a 1.00-mg sample of this mixture is burned, 1.00mL of carbon dioxide (d=1.80 g/L) is formed. What is the percentage of cocaine in this mixture?

The answer, according to the text, is 28%, but my friend and I have no idea how this answer was obtained. If you can offer us any insights, we would greatly appreciate it!

I have to write a general essay on the uses and applications of the Gas Laws (Boyles's, Charles', Gay-Lussac's, Avogadro's), Fick's Law of Diffusion, Dalton's Law of Partial Pressures and Henry's Law of Solubility to the Biosciences.b (1000 words)

I am not required to re-define or to cite any of the laws in equation/formula or mathematecal format.

Just wondered if anyone could provide me with some good book or website names which would be useful for this.

I need something relatively simple - this is the first time I've come across these laws and the lecture on them is only 3 days before the assignment deadline - I need to make a start and would appreciate any info - THANKYOU!

I am about equally well at Chemistry and Biology and I am very good at Calculus. No exposure to physics. My main academic interests are immunology emerging infectious diseases and genetics. My number one driving force for becoming a doctor is because my mom died of leukemia so i am interested in leukemia, aml in particular. I just want to know like the difference btw the two or what classes can i take to make the distinction btw biochem and bio with a double major in chem very obvious to me....cuz now its like they are exact same
