Argon pure form is a Noble gas, basiclly any of the elements in Group O of the periodic table. Argon also exist in our atmosphere, maybe you can do a project on that?

You might use a photo of a MIG (metal-inert-gas) or a TIG (tungsten-inert-gas) welder. These are both types of arc welders. With the MIG, a wire is continuosly fed into the arc, to provide the fill metal. A TIG is used like a gas torch, except it has an arc from a tungsten electrode, instead of a flame, as the source of heat. Both MIG and TIG welders employ an inert gas for shielding the molten metal so it doesn't oxidize. Argon is often used for that purpose.
