a friend of mine played a little prank on me and had me eat some organic morning glory seeds with him this morning as a snack, (i did not know it had any "good" qualities), my question is: are there any other legal plants you can think of with such qualities?

i have tried salvia, mushrooms, cacti extract and even a foxglove derived tea among other things. i would really like to know what else is out there.

Many natural things are harmful, such as E. coli, poisonous mushrooms and lots of other plants, rattlesnake venom, black widow spiders, etc., so "natural" doesn't really equate with good. Chemists can make most compounds (even the ones found in nature) and can make them extremely pure whereas even the good stuff from nature is of variable quality and often very impure. So, doesn't it follow that manmade chemicals are usually better than the same chemicals that occur in nature? What's wrong with "artificial" (synthetic or manmade)?

It seems to me I read something years ago about water lilies being a problem somewhere (maybe Florida?) because of their prolific reproduction and created havoc for boaters. But seems to me that there was research done and they do more good cleaning up the water than aggravation to boaters? Am I remembering wrong?
