Only poliinated flower can produce fruit which bears seeds. Seeds are necessary that a new plant can be produced from them. Some fowers produce fruits without pollination, these do not have seeds e. g. banana. These plants are multiplied by other methods.

the flower needs to be pollinated so that it can create seeds and reproduce. If it wasn't pollinated it wouldn't make any seeds meaning that the species would die out.

reproduce = have babies.
