what are the example of plants with short roots? big roots? small roots and plants that its roots can be eaten?

Plants with short roots-all cereals eg. wheat,rice,etc.
plants with big roots-all tap rooted plants eg. pipal,mango.
plants with small roots-herbs,shrubs eg. Shoe flower plant.
plants with edible roots-radish(Raphanus sativus),carrot(Daucus carrota),Beet root(Beta vulgaris),etc.
plants with long root system are the plants which are tall,huge.Apart from these the xerophytes also have deep penetrating root system, these roots are long and go deep in search of water.eg all cacti.
