Okay, I dont really believe that the tissue people keep the cold virus in a labratory untill cold season, but I am curious where the cold virus goes? If panda bears died off every year they would become extinct, and zoo's everywhere would be without black and white bundles of fur. So what happens to the cold virus? Does it hibernate? Is it in the air right now? Just not potent? Please explain to someone who does not understand how things work.

Traits like hair and I eye color are for the most part absolutely predetermined. But are traits such as musical ability genetic, resulting in only a limited amount of people has that trait? Or, is it something that's learned and can be possessed by anyone? Is it possible to take steps prior to the birth of a child to ensure that he/she is born with embedded musical talent?

I often read and see the label "organic" on meat and plant products. I think to myself, "duh", considering that "organic" itself means that something is a carbon-based organism. However, it would seem that there's another definition I'm not entirely clear on... from what I've gathered, it means that the plant or animal has not received any antibiotic/pesticide treatment or been given any growth hormone. Fair enough... but does that mean that the animal is 100% natural? What about transgenic steers that have been given a gene that produces growth hormone to make them beefier, or transgenic plants that have been given a gene to make them pest resistant? Does the presence of recombinant DNA in an otherwise normal organism make it inorganic? If so, why? In the case of some organisms, like fish, the trait can become hereditary... so if you were to, say, make fish more disease-resistant, but their offspring were born that way, would the offspring be considered organic? Would the parents be?

I hope evolution is true because if it is, then the Bible isn't literally true and maybe God won't let people burn eternally because someone stole a bit of fruit six thousand years ago (unless they accept the torture and death of his only son as their personal savior). But how can I convince my fundamentalist friends? Short answers please!
