I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

the nephron silly! glomerulus --->Proximal convoluted ---> Loop of Henle --> distal convoluted ---> collecting duct. Big stuff filters across the glomerulus (blood cells, large proteins etc) and then most (about 60%) of solutes are filtered out in the proximal convoluted tubule. The rest of the nephron tweaks salt, water and other things to make urine of the appropriate osmolarity.

It's called 'nephron' and it regulates the water and soluble substances by exchanging them with blood.
It consists of the renal corpuscle glomerulus (Bowman's capsule and glomerulus) and renal tubule. Parts of the renal tubule are: proximal tubule, loop of Henle (with its descending and ascending limb) and the distal tubule.
