Look i believe in adaption and changes and mutations in species, but come on people,, do you actually think we came from an ameoba??? How do u think life actually started,, a cesspool of chemicals and a lightning strike? How can u explain the incredible complexity of the human genome? Yeah, that's just by chance....

I need just an overview about the patterns of inheritance, w/c are dominant, sex-linked, and recessive. I've searched some sites but they made me confused even more so I just need a brief explanation for each of these. Thanks.

I need to perform DNA extraction on leaves or meat. How can i do it?
I tried this website: http://learn.genetics.utah.edu/units/activities/extraction/
but it didnt work. I followed everything as it is there. So why is it wrong? I can only get waste proteins precipitated out at the interface between the ethanol and SDS/blended pea mix.

The human genome has been mapped I think completely,, so I would imagine this would be the very first thing they would look for. And yes, I'm aware that it would be extremely difficult to isolate, but im sure they have plenty of cray supercomputers at their disposal. I'm thinking it wont be a single gene, maybe a series.

For my entire life I have been so interested in human evolution. The basic understanding of evolution requires one to understand that modern humans did not evolve from monkeys or apes; but that we have a common ancestor about 7-10 million years ago (That number could be wrong; someone correct me if I'm wrong). So, I started to think about that. Have paleontologists, evolutionists, etc. found many fossils of transitional forms of apes and monkeys? Is there any difference in the bone structure of modern primates compared to much older fossils? Thanks!

P.S. Please no BS religious myths as answers here! I'm not interested in your ignorance.

Is there any fosilized evedence of any living creature changing from one thing to another? For example what was a dog before a dog and before that, all the way down to where ever it started to change from something else to a dog?

If this prosses took millions of years there should be some kind of evidence of this transformation taking place.
