All these answers are correct, but energy usage is variable. For example, under starvation, gram for gram, fat will give you more energy. The fastest digested energy source in a well-fed individual is carbs, that's why we use them as fuel during endurance athletics. What is "quality" of energy? Do you mean "quantity"? If so, then fat has the highest quantity of energy per gram (9 kCal/gram); carbohydrates and proteins are 4 kCal/g. Alcohol is 7 kCal/g
