I mean, If I pooped off the coast of California is it possible under the right circumstances for my turd to show up on a beach in Hawaii or maybe Midway, or possibly Japan??????

Structural,strength,fiber content and water permeability.
Will all affect it's survivability. specific gravity may cause it to sink,and you'd be out of business.
Current,temperature and the culinary preferences of fish could be major problems.
All in all would the experiment be considered gainful employment?

I think you should conduct an experiment and get back to us with the results. Go take a dump in the Pacific Ocean, and then attach a tracking device to your turd. Put on your scuba gear and launch the turd... follow it out.. and when you return, publish a book about the results.
