if you were in an airtight room and you held your breath while all the air was sucked out and the room was being filled up with pure oxygen, and nothing else, how long would you survive breathing that oxygen. also, will you even die from that or would it be healthier to be in a room of pure oxigen?

which of the following muscle fiber types will contribute the largest proportaion of force to a maximal voluntary contraction

is it fast oxidative or fast glycolytic? i think it is fast oxidative can someone help me on this one...

As a sarcomere is streched to 150% of its resting length we see that the force it can generate is dramatically reduced. this is because as the sarcomere reaches this length, the actin and myosin filaments....
are....completely overlapped, have reached the length of max contraction, are optimally aligned or none of these are correct....
as far as my info goes....the actin and myosin filaments are completely overlapped
is this right?????

As far as I knew when it was cold outside, blood moved towards your internal organs and away from the skin so that it wouldn't be exposed to the cold temperatures. Why is it though that when it is cold your hands turn red meaning their is blood rushing to them?

This is obviously a theoretical question, but none the less a serious question. What else does a head need for the brain to function normally???? Oxygen would be received through the blood as per normal!
