An exam question is showing an experiment to prove snails produce carbon dioxide. It then asks how you can modify the experiment to prove plants produce carbon dioxide during repiration. I can only think of putting the plant in the dark and testing the gas. But how would you test it. Lighted splint going out is not conclusive enough and would there be enough carbon dioxide anyway. Thanks

I asked a question this morning trying to learn more about evolution so I could argue more effectively and I used the word "macroevolution." Only after irritating sever people and getting told off twice did I learn that the word macroevolution is a part of the creationist propaganda machine. I've never bothered to learn about this 2nd law of thermodynamics thing because it's my understanding that it has no baring on evolution. But does it even exist at all? It sounds more like geology than biology, but what do I know?

Have there been any studies of radiation from wireless routers hurting animals? I know EMFs can slow reproduction rates, and cell phones cause brain scarring. I'm doing a science fair project to see how it affects Planaria's regeneration, so any information would be a huge help. Thanks! (-=

Why can't scietists alter the genetic make-up of a dog's DNA to make they're aging process the same speed as it's human owner? I have a 13 year old dog and I I've accepted the fact that she may not be around for Christmas coz she has Congenitive Heart Failure. Dogs are man's best friend so why can't we help them live longer. I have a younger dog and I'm starting to regret getting her coz I know that I'll go through the same thing a few years from now when she's old too.
