If infinite can be defined as endless and never ending, can it be labeled a shape? When dealing with shapes, one can determine area, volume, diameter, density and whatnot. If the universe is infinite, then it has an infinite volume, area, and etc. However, which shape is thus formed?

People have said multiple things. Everyone always says, "science can prove it, read a science book and learn something."

So I read my science book and read, "Every action has an equal or opposite reaction."

I learned something. I learned science still hasn't proved anything yet.

To all that is provable, there is no proof that explosions or big bangs bring about order. Show me a big bang or explosion that brings forth order then I will believe it. And I mean bigger than popcorn. Popcorn is not big or a bang. and even if it was each piece is totally different. No order. There has never been an observable bang that brought order. If so where and when, and don't say the universe because from what I can see bulllshhitt. I am not advocating anything but this is really lame and has never been demonstrated in the most natural way. EXPLOSIONS DESTROY AND CREATE CHAOS. Prove that they don't please. And if it gets to wordy then you always know it is B.S. Like a pushy saleman. It should be real simple like the majority of all people.

everything about astrophysics and related disciplines talk about rocks and explosions and fire and matter shifting from e to m etc. gas and rocks at various stages of convergence or whatever. the magnetism and convergence and the heating and cooling of rocks. but all that has to fit in the box of space. they say there iss no edges to space and no center -- by abstruse arguable and mathematics based on the suppositions of "great thinkers" like hawkins and einstein, not to mention planck, maxell eetc. etc. Never have i heard one of the profs i sat in and monitor back i college or watching nova shows are talking to anyone ever talk to me about the space. endless (?) black space. infinite space. if you cannot measure it, how can you prove it is infinite. a tadpole in lake michigan may think the lake is infinite. it is not. i cannot think of anything but math theory that describes things as infinite. it is like in "planet of the apes." futile speculaton and verboten.

If we do that, wouldn't some of the Oxygen, being lighter then CO2, escape Venus, resulting in less pressure on the planet, resulting in a cooler Venus. From there, wouldn't that create a cooling cycle resulting in a terraformed Venus?

Thanks for your response.

Theoretically, what would be the effects if earth's rotation about its axis slowed to half so that one day becomes 48 hours? Besides the impossibility of this, I'm interested in the effect on temperature worldwide, the oceans' ability to regulate and distribute heat, the effect on the moon if any, how plants would adapt/react, etc.

Just curious because I've never seen a meteor shower before. I live near NYC. There's too much light to see many stars usually at night so I'd like suggestions for places to view nearby. How far do I need to get away from the city?

for having an idea....
a black hole has a surface which must not necessarily be the same as the diameter of its event horizon.
This is (as far as i know) depending on the BH size and should make it possible for certain types of BH to have some Space between EH and surface.

So ok we can't observe the surface...
what will happen if this surface get heated up, lets say by infalling matter in hughe ammounts (neutron star or bigger).
Is it heating up ? will it do so ?
or not ?
and if so CAN it heat up endlessly ?
