i work ina nursery, and around this time of year they are starting to get a little more hyper than usual. i asked my tutur about this and she told me itsw because of the moon being so low in the sky. and then she went on about the dark days and stuff (i live in scotland, UK) so i was just wondering how everyones mood changes because of the moon?

I am wondering where the sky starts. When someone throws a small object upwards, a ball for example, we say that it is thrown up into the air. Yet birds and planes fly through the sky. So if a pane flew just above someone's head literally (theoretically) would that plane be in the air or sky?

With all the telescopes etc we have now, how is it that nobody has ever taken a picture of the moon to show the old Moon rockets and vehicles that were left on the moon after the moon landings of the 1960's to show we actually went there and that they are still there??

1. How do we know we're not inside a black hole?
2. There are black holes within this universe.
3. Does that mean we can't be inside a black hole?
4. If not, then wouldn't that mean black holes can be inside black holes?

Let me explain this...
Our Earth is moving on its own Axis.
Our Earth is moving around the Sun.
Our Sun is revolving around Galaxy (Milkway).
Our Galaxy is moving in certain direction...

So, when we are Idle (not moving) (lying still on our bed) in which direction we are moving and at what speed???

What would prevent a star from getting sucked in from all around rather than being attracted to just one small part of the black hole?

maybe...just a thought... space is many sub atomic particals (i forget the name) or even smaller when thoes particals run into each other ending in atoms. maybe it like less dence pushes more dence things in one spot rather then dencity pushing less dence away! so gravity would be the hight resulation of matter (low dencity) pushing away the lower resulations(high dencity) into balls or pockets. the larger ones create stars and the smaller ones planets or rocks. but the great preasure of the higher dencity destroys the atoms. so lower dencity is then reunited. i cant understand how somthing can pull its self in to its self.. unless somthing outside pushes it in? mm what do you think please answer!!

I read a story today about NASA viewing a black hole devouring a distant start in a display of horrible table manners.

Where does the light that gets sucked into the black hole go to? Is it broken down into the smallest sub atomic particles and dissipated?

If you could have a baseball sized object that could withstand the rigors of a black hole's gravity and threw it into the black hole...what would happen to the ball?

Thanks!
