I've read about bacterial endospores coming back on space equipment and still being able to grow and reproduce, so it makes sense that bacterial endospores would have survived the trip to Mars. Doesn't that mean we put life on Mars that could now grow and evolve? Does anyone have any more information or ideas about this?

I came across this interesting fact the other day and confirmed it today. Basically the winter solstice is the shortest day of the year because when compared to the day before and the day after, the sun rises later than the sun sets earlier.

Beginning a few days ago and through December 15th are when the shortest sunlit afternoons occur.

So if you already knew this, please state how you came across the information.

Does anybody knows where to buy a star? I really want to buy a star for someone( which is me ). I know how: first you will recieve a form, then you fill it out. After that, you send it in and pay by something or to someone or somewhere. Then you get to name it and they tell you where it is located. See! It seems so cool. And could you tell me about how much it costs to buy a star, too!? :)

I understand the formation of black holes (star imploding due to lack of hydrogen), but before a hole can appear anywhere, there must be borders, or edges (i.e., space must be composed of a "fabric") around it. How can this be if space is defined as nothingness? Can someone clarify this?

I think that it's important to go to mars or moon. We have to colonize them get new resources and build new bases, in order to make space travel possible.
