The sun is made of a core, a chromosphere, and a photosphere.
The sun s made of approx. 75% hydrogen and 25% helium.
The sun creates light by nuclear fusion-the joining of 2 atoms of hydrogen to create helium.
The rays of the sun take approx. 8 min to reach the Earth.
The sun has 99.9% of the mass in the solar system.
I think the early telescope was called a refraction telescope.
I think that Issac Newton improved the telescope.
The spots are called sun spots. They are called so because they are actually areas on the sun that appear black because they are cooler than the rest of the sun.
