The tiny "seed" of the Big Bang must been surrounded by some huge environment that allowed it to expand. Isn't that a more logical explanation than some mysterious "spacetime" that came into being at the moment of the Big Bang?

It was cloudy tonight when I was on the way home. I just happened to be looking at the sky when I saw a big blue/greenish ball streak right over the car. It only lasted for about 1 and a half seconds and dissapeared- not over the horizon, it just looked like the light was extinguished. It looked like it was right over the clouds- really close. I know there's supposed to be a meteor shower tonight but what I saw doesn't look like any picture of a meteor I've ever seen.
Did anyone else see it? (I live in Lexington, SC) Does anyone know what it could be?

Friendship-7 was the only space flight I know of that John Glen took.
He was passed off as the most motivated Astronaut. Motivated Astronauts fly more than once, other Mercury Astronauts did.
Why didn't he get to fly any Gemini or Apollo missions?
I know he never lost inerest, he went up in Skylab as honorary baggage.

When I was about 14, Comet Kohoutek was coming by on it's 2,000+ yr orbit. I was in a car with my family headed south toward Delaware. The sun was about 25 to 30 derees above the horizon and it was in the late afternoon/early evening. At first I thought that I was observing the contrail of a high flying jet but the contrail seemed extremely long. Dad said it could have been the comet. Does anyone know if it was possible to see the comet at that time of the day being that the comet seemed about 6 or 7 diameters of the sun away?

I think it's fictional (not real) because they did it all in a movie set, filming on LIVE, and it was only for cash (millions of people watching the same channel...).
Other reason, that why is fictional??.. How they did with a simple camera do a filming on LIVE to the Earth?

I'm writing a research paper on black holes, and have said that most people think that black holes exist... and I'm just wondering if this is true of the people on here.

So, do you think that black holes exist, and why?
