On 3 different mornings this week, I have gone outside and found several stones, of various sizes, (3" - 8" diameter), all smooth surfaced, all surfaces are "rounded", (No corners, flat surfaces, or rough edges). The actually look like very large cobblestones. There are no stones like these anywhere in my landscaping, or, in any of my neighbor's landscaping. I have a VERY large tree in the front yard which creates a very dense canopy over the majority of my lawn. The portion of the lawn where I keep finding the stones is the only portion which the tree canopy does not cover. The first time, there were 11 stones, 2nd time - 29 stones, this morning - 84 stones. The neighborhood residents are overwhelmingly older people, our kids grown and gone, no kids running mthe streets to be pulling a prank. Any ideas?

The earths watter sorce came from giant astroids that hit the earth a long time ago, right?, Man evolved from the watter, right?

Mans body is made of, what is it 70 % watter?

With out watter there would be no life on earth, Right?

Watter is an alien substance to the earth, Right?

Our bodies are made up of 70% alien substance.

So isent it a possibility that the bacteria or what ever it was that sparked life here on earth, came from the ice astroids that hit the earth?

Isent it a possibility that life dident start here on earth?

Isent a possibility that the same astroids collided with outher planets and sparked life there as well?

Doesent that prove theres life on outher planets?

Well now that pluto is history and has another name that I can't remember; what will they use to memorize the order of the planets???
Will it be, "My very educated mother just ate nine?"
And we will be left hanging for another word but we can't use pizzas because that used to stand for pluto......so i guess that saying is out the door now...

Is it just me or are Satellites getting bigger, or in a lower orbit?

Twice this week now, i have seen satellites that appear as a bright star, not quite as bright as the North Star though. They certainly were not planes, or meteors.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I have a complicated question to ask, and I'll start by trying to draw an analogy. So the first part is, let me know if my analogy is valid or not.

As I understand the anthropic principle, it states that we fit so well in our environment because the environment shaped us; this is the only kind of environment in which we could have existed; and thus the perception that we fit well into our environment is an illusion.

The anthropic principle gives the appearance of being a result of linking theories that postulate multiple dimensions to account for things such as the weakness of gravity compared to other basic forces, with the theory that if there are enough alternate universes, we need not bother to ask why our own universe is the way it is, with us in it; we can simply assume that we are the one that randomly hit the lottery and that there are a lot of other universes out there which we can't see that didn't quite make it.

How are wormholes a theoretical means of travel if black holes 'destroy' matter once the matter enters it? if something travels into a black hole it will be ripped apart, correct? so how have scientists proved it is theoretically possible for wormhole travel if the travelling object will be ripped apart?
