If we think of the sun's equator, and extend a 2 dimensional plane out from this equator, will the equators of all the other planets in the solar system line up with this plane? I know there is no up or down in space, but I can imagine a "North of the equator" and "South of the equator" in 3 dimensional space in the solar system and think that it is strange that all solar sytem models show the planet's orbits in a flat plane with relationship to the sun's equator. Do some planets in fact revolve around the sun at angle's that do not follow this equatorial plane? I hope I have made myself clear enough?

Thanks,
Joe

If we can reach a point where we will be able to create a man made - big bang (scientists were worried about this outside new york, when not knowing the conseqences of an experiment - whenusing a atom collider), is it extremely possible that we are the result of a man made big bang?

I understand occums razor says no, and my theory relies on speculation on the cousre of human technology (twice)...

I just want to know how you feel about this theory.

I hate it when we are just plunged into darkness so quick, why can't it just be allowed to happen naturally.
Yes I know we get Halloween and Guy Fawlkes, and bonfires as some sort of consolation, but we could have that anyway, because of the cold!!!

Just wondering.....I'd like to know these things, even if the question I ask has no answer... maybe someone can explain to me why we only know of the "big bang" and nothing before?

String theory seems to be a popular theory these days to explain the universe.

What proof is there to validate the string theory or is it really just a hypothesis right now?

Since light doesn't move instantaniously and the farther away an object your looking at in space is the farther back in time your looking. If you could build a telescope that could see far enough, could you theoretically see the Big Bang and the creation of the Universe?
