Mars was close to the earth and Venus very near also..

It was allegedly reported by the newspaper that on the 27th of August mars would come close to the earth at a distance of 34.56 kms.Hence if seen in the sky at 12:30a.m on the 27th of august it would appear as if the earth were having two moons.
