Some of those look very fake. Others look like ancient drawings I've seen of comets (the Bayeux Tapestry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayeux_tapestry has a drawing of Halley's Comet). Remember, also, that in the Christian religion God lives in heaven, which is up in the sky. It's nearly impossible to say if these things were made up by the artists based purely on Christian imagery, or inspired by actual UFO sightings. I really don't think there's enough information to win an argument either way. Sure is interesting, though!
