Do you think in our lifetime an invention of some type of space craft would be created to allow humans to see more than what we already do? I understand there are those Hubble space crafts and so many others that take pictures of outerspace but they're not very detailed. It would be great to see more in detail beyond our solar system what space looks like.

I was wondering if the Meteor shower was only suppose to be tonight, as is Saturday night? I am down here in Texas, and it's been storming all day, so I cannot see anything through the clouds.
Did anybody see the meteor shower? How was is? Do you know where any pics might be posted?
Thank you in advance!

If light traveling in one direction will end up in the same place after a trip around the universe, then the brightest spots in our galaxy might be seen in several spots on the firmament likely at different stages in time. Could we consider the sky as a huge space/time mirror? Could we verify this hypothesis?

I enjoy watching sky @ night. And from d past 2 days, i've been observing strange shooting star like fragments after a definite period of time. say after 5 mins. yesterday i observed 4 such fragments in 15 mins. n today i saw 7 in 30 mins.
I've seen shooting stars lot many times and i m sure that these r not shooting stars but something else. Wat these cud be? Has anyone else also observed such phenomenon?
