I received an email and my daughter told me Mars was visible in 2003. If it has not happened I heard the date was August 27th.

August 21 or 27 one of them. If you use a telescope, you will be able to see it the size of the moon

this month on the 28th of august Mars will be closest to the moon..........ever and u will be able to see it just as u see the moon........no 1 on earth has seen this and wil not happen again in our life time...............hope u catch it. ... this is in australia so 27th if u r in the states...............if u like i can sent u the email i received..is very interesting

I think it's supposed to be from the 23rd to the 27th it will be as big as the moon in the night sky.
