I'm in central Texas and have seen a few tonight; one was quite bright, leaving a smokey trail that lasted several seconds. The moon is out now and washing out the sky, but the brighter ones can still be seen.
As for pictures, you might try http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html over the next few days to see if any from this year's shower are posted (there is searchable archive there; enter 'Perseid' in the search field, you'll find several pictures from previous showers). You could also try http://skytonight.com/ and see if any get posted (they have info on the shower there, too).
If skies clear up for you during the next several days, it still might be worth a look. Best times are after midnight local time and/or when the moon is below the horizon.

It is tomorrow as well, and even into the next week, but unfortunately it willnot be much this year as the peak periods of activity happen to occur during daylight hours over the USA, but still I'll keep looking just in case. I saw the best meteor ever during the anual Perseid Meteor Shower (this time every year) a few years back, but still have not seen a spectacular shower

Technically, meteor showers last several days with their peaks occuring on one day. So, if you do miss it tonight due to bad weather, don't feel that you have missed it. The nights before and after the peak should still produce several meteors, just not as many.
Clear Skies!

I'm in southern British Columbia, Canada and I have been looking but haven't seen anything so far. It is 10:53 pm here right now. They are supposed to be seen when looking towards the north.
It's now 12:18 and I haven't seen anything here yet.

Yes, I am in Texas, too.
It is still going on and best seen after midnight.
You can see them through tomorrow.
I saw two good ones last Saturday.
