Last time i asked this question i wasn't very clear about a lot of things, so here's what i meant about the junk yard rocket. could it be done if it was a community project, with volunteer engineers from the local university, donated parts and other contributions from local businesses and fund raising events to raise money for the project. As for fuel and how to knowledge please view this link. If a single individual like this man can do it what would stop someone else.

What if the telescope was powerful enough to observe God creating the universe, would we be allowed to view it , and would God back then know we are watching now with that telescope?

Millions of years before the 1st star was born, there were no stars at all! Scientists say a telescope 100 million times more powerful than the Hubble is being built. What if we could observe the explosion of the Big Bang?

Isn't Science at it's heart, the search for the truth. To observe and understand the natural nature of the Universe. If we discover truths about the Cosmos, then how can that be argued against? That sounds like to me the same arguement along time again, that the Earth was the center of the Universe.

Stupid sun...why art thou forever destined to bust my balls! I enjoy the outdoors, but not when you come in with your hippy shinny smile and heat the living begezus out of everything. I ask you world, what can we do to take that arrogant Sun off its high pedastal and back down to a mellow, cool disposition? Will it take bombings? Another sexy female sun that it can try and impress? The worlds largest blunt? Anything, help me defeat this evil hot minion of burning!
Doh! I think I missed a spot while putting on sun screen...DAMN YOU SUN!!!!

I know that the universe is stretching but what is it stretching in? If we got to the end (which is impossible, but anyway) we would see what the big bang was doing but whats beyond that? A brick wall with those fake windows painted in?

The money could be better spent on solving sickness and hunger on Earth. There is no way that humans could survive the million or so light years space travel. Ocean exploration should make better sense after all it is a source of food. Only the astronomers and space scientist get excited every time a detect another stupid moon in Pluto, at tax payer's expense.

From the many pictures I've seen of the planets and space bodies, Earth seemed to be the only plane with large bodies of water, endless jungles and teaming with complex life. The others all look pretty much alike - barren rocks and endless lifeless desert. The closest plants to Earth (Venus and Mars) should at least have some environment like Earth.
