Because gravity pulls all of the little bits of sand and dust and moon-flavored junk toward the center of the mass. Over time, all the little bits shift around, trying to get as close to the middle as they can, coming at it from all angles, and the result is something roughly spheroid in shape.

Also, it's easier to slice and sell the cheese if it's already round.

When blobs / masses of loose matter in space have enough
shared gravity to coalece , the gravity is strongest at the center
of the most mass and everything just falls in toward the center
forming spherical body..

I would not rule out the possibility of spherical bodies in space to be man made.

due to the effect of gravity....

but it is not exactly spherical.... due to its rotation, it is more like an orange.... with the poles flat and bulged at theequator ( i am just using the terms which we use for the earth, because i dont know what its called when related to the moon.)

Why Not ?? Throw any object hard enough and friction will turn it into a sphere eventually and I think God threw a hardball when he tossed the moon

It's actually flat but has to obey the laws of relativity so it is round under our laws and perceptions. Contrary to popular opinion there is green cheese there.

A better question would be, "Why does your head come up to a point?".
