Whats not interesting imagining a MASSIVE structure consuming itself and that everything that crosses its path just suddenly dissapears? Its one of the universes mose strangest mysteries.

I find them interesting and confounding as well, because I wonder what the exact forces that allow them to consume everything around them within a certain volume, but not go past that and inhale the whole universe. There must be some wonderful scientific principles just waiting to be discovered that are involved. Anyhow, even more than Black holes, I find the idea of worm holes to be intriguing. Imagine being able to go many light years in mere seconds through some kind of space short-cut (i.e. space fold). Also string theory is magnificently beautiful. Do you believe in it?

Its sort of like self suppression; everything is compressed into a infinitesmally small space so as to have the appearance of a void. But I am not sure I can belief that an object could be composed of pure neutrons, constantly absorb energy and not transform matterialistically. I am not sure I really believe they exist because in that composition there is no basis for magnetic field generation and no theoretical basis for the existence for gravity.

the balck hole is one of those things the look as if man-kind will never answer like "how big is the uniserve?" , "are their aleins" or somthing like "where is atlanis?" but it's in human nature for us to be so curious about those things. So yeah the black hole interest me a lil too , but the thing that has me puzzled is "what happend to the other seven planets, that we know of?" and "where the hell are all the other smart things in the uniserve?"

Hi,

It is really interesting to me because it is like an invisible hole.

A hole where there is nothing and more than that they think it leads to other places in the universe, or other universes. A sort of tunnel. I wish to travel through one! hehe

I think that the universe has too many misteries that we wish to understand and there maybe a way across those black holes where someday we'll find the true about us.

Yes, and not just because I watch Stargate. I took an astronomy course, and black holes were the highlight. But that's not really a question...
