I know the sun gives you energy, but i dont understand how because everytime i stay outside for more than 2 hours to get a tan or something i feel like i loose energy because i am tired and lazy. Why is that?

Is that still taught? That those forces would by chance happen to end up in exact balance in perpetuity is not credible. I believe it's electrical forces, like electrons around the nucleus. See also my question on gravity. This universe is based on electromagnetism.

Our satellite is the only one in the S.S. that is unnamed. And no, "luna" isn't a name, it's Latin for "moon." Now that we're starting to stretch our legs a little into space, isn't it time we stop being so earth-centric and actually name our moon?

I watched the Voyage to the bottom of the sea again. In the movie the van allen belt is on fire. Is this possible? Also how can there be belts around the eath when the earth is suppose to be spinning like a top?

Imagine..if there was a sci-fci scenario..and the whole of mankind would have to evacuate there??

How would we live?? How could we be able to breathe the air?? How could we cope with the climate?? How could we grow crops??? What about gravity??


Would a civilisation..and culture develop on Mars... What about our old civilisations???

It seems the reason for the "fuel problem" with our rockets getting into space is that everyone is in too much of a hurry. If you utilized a cheaper technology, such as a hot helium balloon, to get the rocket at a decent height before finally firing up the rockets, couldn't you cut down on the costs of the launch quite a bit? Also, wouldn't storing the energy in a flywheel be a lot smarter than using tons of rocket fuel?
