A boat in distress launches a flare straight up with a velocity of 190 feet per seconds. Ignoring the height of the boat, how many seconds will it take for the flare to hit the water? What is the maximum height reached by the flare?

I did this so far.

h(t) = v t - 16t^2
h= 190t-16t^2.

I'm not sure where to go from here.

Before answering remember - Biological information is not encoded in the laws of physics and chemistry … (and it) cannot come into existence spontaneously. … There is no known law of physics able to create information from nothing.’

UFO = unidentified flying object.
so the way i see it, couldn't that mean that a bird or a plane or a blimp or something could be a ufo if the person seeing them doesn't know what they are?
or do they have to be related to... aliens and extraterrestrial things?

Describe what you would see if you stepped on a scale while traveling in your spaceship at a speed of 0.86c. Would your mass change with speed? How about your frame of reference? Contrast both these questions with what would be noticed by motionless observers? Explain your response.

...,int design people claim that natural selection and mutation can't account for the complication of life forms, but does evolution even try to claim that it is the harbinger of every facet of a life form (like complication)? Im writing a podcast on "why creation, evolution, and intelligent design isn't mutually exclusive." Any ideas would be highly appreciated! '
