What kind of beetle do mealworms turn into?

I have to feed mealworms to my gecko, and I am just curious if anyone knows what they eventually become?I know its a kind of beetle but what kind?

They turn into the kind of beetle that eats geckos! Naa, actually they turn into mealworm beetles, a species of darkling beetles.

As I recall, one of the varieties of ground beetle. A simple google should give you the answer..
