I found this problem really hard to solve, plz if u know how to do help me out by showing ur working for every single step:-

1) The line p has gradient 2/3 (two thirds) and passes through the point (6, -12). The line q has gradient -1 and passes through the point (5,5). The line p meets the x - axis at A and the line q meets the x-axis at B. Work out the gradient of the line joining the points A and B. (Remember there is only one gradient).

The right answer will get 10 points from me. Thnx a lot guys.

The Problem: The TCO 99 standard from the FCC limits EMF (electromagnetic frequency) exposure to 2 mGauss, the term used to measure electromagnetic frequency, at a distance of 30 centimeters away from the front of a computer monitor. If I apply the regulation to 20 cell phones, how far do I have to be from a working cell phone to get an EMF reading of 2 mGauss, and will they comply with the TCO regulation?

It is hypothesized that a majority of the 20 cell phones that will be tested will conform to the regulation. To reiterate, at least 11 out of 20 of the cell phones will register 2 mGauss at a distance nearer than 30 centimeters.

So basically, I am using a guassmeter to measure and record if a cell phone's distance to 2mGauss is less or more than 30 centimeters. I just realized I don't have a control. :( :( :( :(

If you need more information, ask! I have it all on a word doc. Ready to copy and paste over.

Lots of people go onto the science section just to answer "god did it" every time Big Bang comes up.
Now I have an extremely good grasp of the evidence for the big bang and that evidence is of exceptional quality.
If you believe 100% in a creationist start to the universe, show me hard evidence that I can check please.
And don't use ID because in most cases it based on an incorrect interpretation of evolution.
Good luck.
